Rug checker

Is this token a rug? Paste its contract address and see, before you buy, whether you can sell it, what it taxes, who from the launch still holds it and how thin its liquidity is.

Try , , Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Robinhood Chain and 8 more chains.

How it works

Find the token
Paste a contract address (any of 13 chains) or search by name. A 0x address is checked on every EVM chain at once and the chain where it trades most is shown.
Check the contract
A scam rating, the test trade (can you sell, buy and sell tax) on EVM chains, and on Solana the token’s mint, freeze, fee and hook settings.
Check the holders
Snipers, bundlers and insiders from the launch that still hold, the creator’s share, the top 10 wallets’ share and the holder count.
Check the market
Liquidity in the main pool, market cap against that liquidity, the token’s age, and buyers versus sellers over 24 hours.

A clean check says nothing about where the price goes. Browse AI token reports with a scored public track record, or read what memecoin pumps pay early wallets versus chasers.

Questions

How does the rug checker work?

Paste a contract address. Unhosted finds the chain the token trades on and runs the same automated check its token reports show: a scam rating from contract analysis and manual reviews, a test buy and sell through the token’s pool on EVM chains (did the sell go through, what were the taxes), the token’s own settings on Solana (mint and freeze powers, transfer fees, transfer hooks), the launch wallets that still hold, and the token’s liquidity, holder concentration and age.

What is a rug pull?

A rug pull is when the people behind a token take the money and leave holders with something they cannot sell or that is worth nothing. The common forms: pulling the liquidity out of the pool, minting new tokens and dumping them, a contract that blocks or heavily taxes sells (a honeypot), and launch insiders selling into everyone who bought after them.

What is a honeypot token?

A token you can buy but cannot sell, or can only sell with a tax that takes most of it. On EVM chains the checker reads a test trade that buys and then sells through the token’s pool: if the sell failed, it says so in red and shows the taxes it measured. On Solana it reads the token’s settings instead, which show whether the token can freeze holders or charge a fee on every transfer.

Does a clean result mean a token is safe?

No. It means none of the checks found a red flag when the check ran. Owners can change taxes, liquidity can be pulled in one transaction, and many new tokens have not been tested yet: the checker says when a test has not run, and that means unknown, not clean. Treat it as a warning signal, never a guarantee.

What are snipers, bundlers and insiders?

Wallets that got in at launch. Snipers buy in the first moments of trading, bundlers buy through several wallets in one bundled transaction, and insiders are wallets tied to the creator. While they still hold a large share of supply they can sell into later buyers, so the checker shows how many still hold and how much.

Which chains does it check?

Solana, Ethereum, Base, BNB Chain, Arbitrum, Polygon, Optimism, Avalanche, Robinhood Chain, HyperEVM, Arc, Linea and Sonic. Paste a 0x address and it finds the chain the token trades on; you can also search by name or ticker. Test trades run on EVM chains; Solana tokens are read from their own on-chain settings.

Is the rug checker free?

Yes. No sign-up and no wallet connection. Paste an address, read the result and share the link: the token is kept in the URL.
