Is Unhosted AI legit?
Yes. Unhosted AI is run by Unhosted AG, a company in the commercial register of the Canton of Zug, Switzerland (UID CHE-409.080.088). It never holds your crypto, its scam checks and token reports are free without an account, and Pro costs $29.99 a month after a 7-day free trial. Every answer below links to a place where you can check it.
We run Unhosted, so don't take our word for it. Here is who is behind it, what it can and cannot do with your money, how it makes money and how good its calls are, each with a source you can open.

Does Unhosted hold my crypto?
No. Unhosted is non-custodial. When you buy a token on the site, you sign the swap in your own wallet. In copy trading, the backend can place trades within the limits you set and can never withdraw: spot trades run on smart sessions with a spend cap and an expiry, and Hyperliquid trades on an agent key you can revoke at any time. The Unhosted app in ChatGPT is read-only: it cannot trade, transfer or touch a wallet.
No part of Unhosted needs your seed phrase or private key. Anyone who asks for it, in a message, a form or a chat, is not us.
Has Unhosted been audited?
Yes. The backend services had an independent security review and penetration test in 2025, with every finding resolved, and the smart-account contract modules were audited separately in 2023. The reports are public: audit reports.
How does Unhosted make money?
- Pro subscriptions: $29.99 a month after a 7-day free trial, paid through Stripe, cancel anytime. Pricing.
- A fee on swaps made with the buy button on the site. The swap shows the total fee before you sign.
- The Intelligence API, which wallets, terminals and trading apps pay to use. Developers.
- Copy trading for partners: Unhosted keeps part of the venue fees their users' copied trades generate, and the partner keeps 70%. Copy trading.
Free without an account: the AI token reports, the rug checker and the other free tools, and the research with its raw data.
Are its AI calls any good?
Check the record, not the marketing. Every directional call is logged before the outcome is known and scored after 24 hours, 7 days and 30 days, misses included: track record. No call is a guarantee, and nothing on Unhosted is financial advice.
We also test our own tools in public, with the raw data, including where they fall short: the rug checker test puts Unhosted next to RugCheck, GoPlus and Honeypot.is on the same tokens, and the honeypot a test sell can't catch traces a trap that passes a standard sell test.
What are the risks?
- AI reports and scam checks can be wrong. A clean check only means no red flag was found when it ran: an owner can still raise taxes or pull liquidity later.
- Brand-new tokens are the riskiest. In our October 2026 test, 43 of 86 tokens whose pools were under two days old lost at least 90% of their price or liquidity within a week.
- Pro renews every month until you cancel it.
